ITANAGAR, 22 Jun: Dharmendra took charge as the new chief secretary (CS) of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday.
He replaced former chief secretary Naresh Kumar, who has been appointed as the chief secretary of Delhi.
Dharmendra, the 1989-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer, formerly served as the chairman of New Delhi Municipal Council.
Upon his joining, he convened a meeting with senior officers of the state and took stock of important projects and issues pertaining to the state.
The new chief secretary was accorded a warm welcome by a team of senior officers led by finance, planning & investment principal secretary Dr. Sharat Chauhan.
